CBSE is all set to revive its teacher’s training programmes with the help of having private partners in the process. Seminars will be conducted by the private agency to train principals, teachers and students. The seminars will have online trainings as well as face-to-face workshops at various locations throughout the country. On 30 June 2014 the board is likely to choose the agency and with that the work will begin within few months.All the components of continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) that are included in the board’s publications will be included in the training programme that will focus on the development of materials. The master trainers that are appointed at the agency will be training the teachers in the schools. The technical instructions needed shall be provided by the agency via emails, phones and through visits. Once everything is set, the agency will plan the schedule of the training with the board.
This programme will help the schools under CBSE Board to get the CCE right way that will help the schools to perform better. New schools under CBSE Board are facing lot of trouble with the CCE scheme. Training the teachers will help about 15,000 CBSE Board affiliated schools to increase themselves on terms of quality as well as quantity.
